BOOK REPORTS
All VHS students are required to complete book reports as part of their graduation requirements. The students must complete one book report for every year they are in attendance at VHS.
Students may read any book of their choice. They must then give the book to a teacher or counselor and be prepared to give a verbal book report, in which they can answer any questions the teacher poses about the characters, plot, story, etc.
- Students who attend VHS for 4 years: 4 book reports and 1000 pages
- Students who attend VHS for 3 years: 3 book reports and 750 pages
- Students who attend VHS for 2 years: 2 book reports and 500 pages
- Students who attend VHS for 1 year: 1 book report and 250 pages

- Books that are assigned in a class may only be used for a book report with permission of the teacher.
- Books that have been made into movies must be pre-approved for book reports.
